this guy.

wow. i am seriously on a blogging frenzy here. i hope you all are appreciating this. mostly i have just been looking at way too many pictures. every time i start looking at pictures i just feel like blogging. it doesn't make sense but it happens.
so as i was meandering through photos i stumbled on more than a few of this guy...keep in mind these were the only ones where we looked semi normal. we apparently both can't take a normal cute photo. its okay though, i'll be happy with our 1000 mishap photos.
enjoy. xoxo
p.s. i am going to write a great post about some missionary things but, i am too tired and typing at this moment is too much for me. coming soon though...

Just a quick little spotlight :)

WHITNEY WILDE
Whitney is one of my best friends and I just wanted to give her a quick shout out!!
She is the kindest person I know and no matter what you are doing she will make it fun. She is always looking to see what she can do to help others and she has a very strong testimony of the gospel. You can just tell when you look at her that she is striving to be the best she can be. I really do look up to her and I hope that I can be as positive as she is one day. It doesn't matter what is going on in her life, she will always turn it into a positive. She has about 2938475 friends because she will talk to anyone and everyone. (We actually met because she flagged me down at a stop sign...long story haha) She dated one of Noah's good friends so we have a great time being sad/happy about the missionaries we love. I can talk to her about anything, she is an amazing friend!
Whitney Roan Wilde you are the best!
P.S. She's got herself a blog...check it out!

to best friends.

here's to my best friends. i love you all. a lot. this weekend we had a farewell get together. haddy left saturday until june then cydnee and i are off until august. we went to dinner then drove up the canyon. we spent hours listening to music and chatting about life.

cydnee-we laugh about everything. we just met this year and it feels like we have been friends forever (sappy? yes). our favorite things are christmas in a cup, late night drink runs (which include christmas in a cup), blogging, talking about every little thing that happens to us, oh and planning our amazing study abroad together!!
haddy mae-i'm sad that you are off on an adventure of a lifetime and leaving me at home. for some reason we both talk in ridiculous voices when we are together. she makes me like abbreviating things (its totes the best). also, we are always laughing when we're together.
rachelle-she is just the greatest. one of the best friends you could ask for. she made me love grey's anatomy (im still trying to decide if that was good or bad). i can talk to her about anything and everything. she is that kind of friend that you can count on no matter what.

i love you ladies. we are spending a summer apart but i can't wait to reunite in the fall! its too bad we don't have pants that fit all of us perfectly that we can write our life stories on and send between us all. hahah maybe next year :)

countdown starts...NOW.

Attention please...
I am officially starting my countdown to EUROPE and the best study abroad ever!!!! I can't even wait for it to start. It starts in approximately 43 days. Also I am going to try and update my blog at least once a week.
I started spring semester just one week ago and so far I love it. It is so fun to be on campus with barely anyone else. You can park wherever the heck you want, and you better believe that I do (yes mom, I know I live right by campus). My classes are fabulous. I have officially started my program so all I am taking are elementary education classes. It is the best! It is so fun to be taking classes that I am actually interested in and that will really benefit me when I am teaching. I am taking 9 credits which is a little bit much but it will be so worth it when it is over.
My great friend cydnee and I are just loving being neighbors especially in the spring. We have planned bike rides, although they haven't happened yet. Mostly due to the fact that I don't have a bike but they will happen.
Welp, thanks for listening those three of you that do!
P.S. today was a good day because...when my hair was down I could feel it on the back of my arm. Woo Woo!!!!! Also someone said "you're hair is looking long"...thank you random someone. That made my week.

well hello there!

I have come to terms with the fact that I am not the ideal blogger and that I slack off a lot. It's fine though. Here is a quick update on my life:
.
I just got back from a seven day cruise in the Caribbean with my family! Yes, I took off a week of school for this. Who says you can't make your own spring break?! We stopped in the Bahamas, St. Thomas, and St. Maarten. The above pictures are on our first day on the ship, lounging around in our room and golfing on the mini golf course in the middle of the ocean. We had two big windows which was way fun because we could see the big waves and sit and watch the ocean for dolphins haha. I wish I had more pictures to post of the cruise but only a few worked when my dad sent me the 400 he took. He is quite the photographer nowadays. There were a lot of "DAD! Enough pictures" being said but I am glad now that he's taken them all. And I think we have all recovered from the embarrassing photos taken by the photographers on the cruise. One imparticular being the one where we were forced to pile on top of each other...it will most likely be seen on awkward family photos.
I am still nannying for the same people and I LOVE it. This is us before we headed out to a fun lunch at McDonald's. It was a great time. Although we had one mishap when A would not come down the giant, twirly, dark slide. With a bunch of parents looking on I scaled the slide from bottom to top, put her on my lap and sliddown.
This little cutie, Rachelle, and I took a quick drive up the canyon last week during our lunch break. We jammed to girly music and chatted about life. We made it up to sundance for a delicious sucker and it was a nice treat that there was a little snow coming down. Even though I am usually not a fan of snow it was so pretty and looked like a winter wonderland. As you can see we are both lookin' way nice and loving life. I love that girl.
One last thing!!! My new job. I am now a dance teacher at Ruby Shoes Dance Studio in Provo. I teach 4-5 year old ballet and 7-8 year old ballet. I am also choreographing for a student one on one for our end of the year performance. We are doing the Wizard of Oz. I love this studio. The girls are adorable and so fun to work with. The performance is this May and I can't wait.

Well that is all for now. Hopefully I will update more often from now on :)

P.S. Look at this guy! It was his birthday March 15th, he turned 20. He has been out 8 months going on 9(ish) and he is loving life in El Salvador.

confessions...

Okay so I am the WORST at updating this thing, but really...does anyone even read it? In hopes that maybe one or two of you do (Mom and Whitney) here is my update. I have a few confessions.
1. I may or may not have watched Dear John 2 times this weekend (thanks Elder Cook for little treat from El Salvador).
2. Also I might have maybe cried both times.
3. My roommate Lauren probably walked in on me in a full bawl fest (come on, channing was reading that letter to his dad...who doesn't cry there?!?). Feeling extremely uncomfortable because I could barley dry my tears off my face she asked if she needed to come back. Haha sorry Lauren :)
4. I am drinking a diet coke right this second. Although it is 11:20pm I haven't had one in two days so that should give me some credit right? Okay fine I know it's bad for me.
5. I want to wear leggings EVERY single day. Don't worry I limit myself.
6. I have been brushing my hair 50 strokes (strokes?) every night because I once read in Little House on the Prairie that Laura did that every single night, and have you seen that girls hair in the TV series?!
7. I heard a rumor Hilary Duff was pregnant (thanks Alexa!!) and I was a little too excited about it. Why do I feel like I know her? She's just an all American girl haha, nobody make fun of me.
8. I still check the mail every day even when I KNOW a letter won't be there...can you blame me?
9. I just said I was blogging for "funsies"...yes out loud. I promise I don't use that phrase on a daily basis.
10. I have been listening to "Hazy"-Rosi Golan all week. I just can't stop.
11. I painted my nails on my RIGHT hand perfectly using the technique I learned in "Switching Goals" (with the Olson twins). Also it worked and my nails look great. That NEVER happens.
12. Please don't think I'm cliche for saying this but...I miss Noah Maurice, my best friend.
13. I sometimes (most of the time) wake up with only minutes left to get ready for school.
14. I'm DYING to buy some cute new baby clothes at Gymboree...someone hurry and have a baby so I don't buy them!!!
15. I miss my family, all 6 of them. Even you Dawson...who fakes injuries to get off the phone with me (apparently "chatting" really isn't his thing).
16. I wish I was watching Bride Wars with Alexa Markham tonight.
17. As I was walking out of work last night I thought "Wow it's warm!". When I got in the car it was 29 degrees...WHO AM I?!
18. I scream every time I get in the car and it is cold...it warms me up duh.
19. My hardest homework this week was to draw a picture of a children's song (we could use stick figures, good since that is as far as my artistic talent extends). I realize this type of information is what gives elementary education the way too extremely easy reputation. But I swear I have some harder classes.
20. I'm a bad driver.
Well there you go. Just a little insight into my life as of late.
xoxo
oh one more......I'm hooked on the bachelor. But honestly, who isn't these days. (Jessica)
